I went to the store specifically to buy tampons. I picked up a box and made my way to the counter. While in line I looked around to see what items were on sale in the bins around me and noticed cans of tuna for 59 cents. Ooh I thought I'll get a couple. But then thought I can't buy tuna and tampons together with no other items. It really makes no sense why, but it just seems...inappropriate. It's like buying a tooth brush and a big bag of peanut brittle; antacids and Doritos or a cucumber and hand lotion. Some things just don't go together.
